Labyrinthine Passages
A Triannual Literary Journal of Faith Based Poetry and Prose
Introduction by Alex R. Encomienda
*****
I drank from a bottle of wine;
The taste of weariness and fruit
Entered my body and so I humbled myself;
Therein I fell asleep and dreamed
Of a labyrinth that carried the words to
A thousand mute cherubs.
When I woke up I found myself
Covered in letters with a task
Fit for a hopeful one
And a pamphlet of names that were destined
To help me with my task
Of piecing together
The passages from the Labyrinth.
