About Labyrinthine Passages
Labyrinthine Passages is a faith based online literary journal founded by Alex Rafael Encomienda in 2016. Alex is an author of fiction and poetry who often expresses the concepts of love, faith, escapism and peace in his work. He has been featured in The Penwood Review, Adelaide, Bindweed, ALTARWORK and Arizona based literary journal The Blue Guitar Magazine.
Adrian Encomienda and Valerie Devanson are the editors of poetry and short fiction respectively. They live, eat and breathe literature!
Labyrinthine Passages is a nonprofit organization which means that we cannot pay contributors but we rejoice in and showcase the talent on our site along with sharing your work on our social media page with credit and exposure to your name. Each piece of prose is complimented by unique artwork from other contributors across the world.
Labyrinthine Passages aims to explore the nature of humankind under God. We want to break the barriers of love, fear, anxiety, sin, hopefulness, despair and faith. If we can collect just enough of the fire that makes us human beings and turn it into beautifully written passages with careful literary merit while keeping the raw, human emotion then we have reached our goal.
